![]() ![]() Husband said it was the best salmon he has ever eaten! We were sadly too full to try their very tempting desserts but were treated to two perfect bon bons with our check. So moist but the flavor of the very light potato horseradish crust was game changer. For our entrees: slices of duck breast served on polenta with tomato concassé (stewed) & olives salsa verde (very good but definitely better to cook duck to at least medium) and Salmon encrusted with horseradish & potato, haricots verts & beurre blanc sauce + avocado mousse. With blood orange margarita & Modelo, we shared the best three cheese chile relleno with black bean sauce, curtido & crema. We decided to follow his lead and we're not disappointed. Greeted by the very outgoing bartender who enthusiastically told us about his favorites on the menu. Our reservations were for bar seating which is how we often slip into the more popular restaurants. Actually it is a Mexican hot chocolate so it has a little bit of spice. I ordered an extra sipping hot chocolate since there were three of us. ![]() We decided to try two desserts, the flourless chocolate tart and the churros, which the menu says comes with sipping hot chocolate. My friends had the pork chop which comes from a local farm. The waiter said that they could not do it as an entree after I asked. I decided to have the lamb Taco appetizer for my meal. The menu Is an interesting mix of Mexican dishes and traditional American food. ![]() We shared the lobster nachos as an appetizer and all of us loved it. My friend started off with a blood orange margarita which I tasted and liked. I made a reservation via OpenTable and then needed to make it a later time and they accommodated our change. My sister recommended this restaurant as she ate here this summer. ![]()
